The a671 cc60 cl22 is a product specification for an electric fusion welded pipe, with added metal fillers. The a671 pipe grades are suited to high pressure applications at lower as well as atmospheric temperatures. The a671 pipe is a carbon-based stainless-steel pipe that is fabricated in pressure quality plate for varying levels of strength.
The a671 pipe material includes 0.24% of Carbon, 0.13% to 0.45% Silicon, 0.79% to 1.30% of Manganese. This carbon-based stainless-steel alloy also contains trace amounts of other minerals. For example, 0.035% of phosphorus and Sulphur can be found in the alloy.
Addition of these elements during the formation of the alloy increases its mechanical properties. The Yield strength of the a671 gr cc65 is about 240 Mpa and the pipe’s tensile strength ranges between 450 Mpa to 585 Mpa.
